Senior Pastor

Hello, my name is Eliud Garcia. I am an ordained minister and have the wonderful privilege of serving as Freedom Life Church’s senior pastor. I have been married to Cathy for 28 years and we have two incredible children, Juan and Elizabeth. As part of my calling I been blessed with the opportunity to travel around the world working on many different humanitarian/ministerial projects as well as speaking engagements. I have been a resident of the great city of Mission for 28 years, but have enjoyed overseas living in Malaysia, and Northern Ireland. My heart is to connect people to Christ, community, and the church so that they can walk in the destiny that God has for them.

Hola! I’m Cathy and I have had the distinct privilege of serving God’s people here at FLC for many years. I’m passionate about worshiping Jesus, sharing God’s word locally and across the planet and empowering others to change their world with the love and power of our BIG God! We love to do life together with others so come and join us!!

Associate Pastor

Hello, my name is Bern, and I am so glad that you are here checking out our website and our church! Something about me to know is that I am so grateful for the grace of God and for the finished work of Jesus on the Cross. Only He can take a broken, insecure messed up person and turn him or her into a useful man or woman for His Kingdom. In a nutshell, that is my testimony! My desire is as you get to know our church and as we meet personally, that you will come to know Him and His purpose for you! Hope to see you at church soon!

Worship Arts Pastor

Hello, I’m Pastor Obed Garza. I’ve been living in Mission, TX since 2018 and serve as Worship Pastor at FLC. I’ve loved music since I was very young and love the presence of God even more. It gives me so much joy to be able to use my gifts and all my ability to serve the Lord. I’m an evangelist at heart and I want everyone I know to have a relationship with Jesus. If you have a desire to use your gifts, talents, time, and skills to serve God, come talk to me. I can help you get involved if you’d like to serve in our community outreaches, worship team, Grief Share, and coffee connections!
